What are the main responsibilities of your position?

I am responsible for supporting and maintaining Liberty and illumin, including client updates, maintaining server environments, release testing, and much more. I have also recently taken on the role of training for our APAC users and live demonstrations in our webinars. My primary responsibility is to ensure our clients are comfortable to carry out their tasks in Liberty and illumin, assisting them when required.

When did you join Softlink and do you like most about working here?

I started working with Softlink in August of 2019. I love and appreciate the opportunity I have been given to develop my skills in a work environment whilst also studying at university. The ability to see my skills put into real world situations daily is very gratifying. One of the most exciting things about working at Softlink is having input on features and elements of the products we develop.

What is your favorite type of food? If there is a list of them so much the better!

I love to cook my own food and recently I have started experimenting with a larger variety of dishes than ever before. My staples include Tuna Bake, Rogan Josh, and home-made Lasagne. I occasionally make a nice rare steak or chicken parmigiana complemented with a beer or wine. If I find myself eating out, I will generally choose something I haven’t tried. Recently, I have explored some tasty menus which covered around six different dishes.

Which 4 people, alive or dead, would you love to share your favourite food with and why?

This would have to include four people who have certainly had some sort of influence on me throughout my lifetime. I would share my favorite food with Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits), John Lennon (The Beatles), Gordon Ramsay (British Chef), and David Attenborough (Broadcaster). It’s a wide a range of guests but I think they would all have such a story to tell (or just be outrageously entertaining).

If you could be anyone else for a day, who would that be and why?

I would have to choose Jay Leno because he has an amazing car collection. A day would not be enough though! Maybe a week? He has a lot of interesting unique cars!

What is the one site on your bucket list you most want to visit?

I have never been overseas; however, I have visited many places in Australia. If I could fly anywhere in the world right now it would be Japan. For such a small place, Japan has such an abundance of sites to see. From the vast technology in the cities to the amazing scenery and mountain roads. They have it all and I really want to experience everything Japan has to offer, hopefully soon!
