Reflecting on ANZTLA 2025: Stories Rooted in the Past, Shaping the Future of Theological & Special Libraries

Softlink IC was proud to participate in the 39th ANZTLA Conference, held 26-29 November 2025 at The Women’s College, University of Queensland. This year’s theme, “Echoes of the past ... creating stories for the future,” deeply resonated with our mission to support theological and special libraries in preserving knowledge and guiding discovery through innovation.

While the ANZTLA 2025 conference spanned four days we were delighted to be part of the energy at the Supplier Marketplace. It was the perfect opportunity to meet librarians, archivists, and academics to hear how they’re navigating change in their collections and services. And even as technology including AI, has reshaped how we manage and access information, the conference confirmed that the expertise, empathy, and insight of librarians remain at the centre.

Sessions on topics such as cataloguing with AI, research workflows, and citation storytelling highlighted the evolving role of digital tools.

“It was a privilege to engage with so many ANZTLA members and hear firsthand how they’re using digital solutions like Liberty Digital to honour the past and build for the future.” said Suzana Petrovic, Marketing Manager at Softlink IC.
