Softlink IC was excited to be a part of this year’s Computers in Libraries (CIL) and Internet Librarian’s (IL) conference. It was an exciting opportunity to show off our library management system Liberty and our research management product, illumin.

All that anticipation and all that enjoyment have come and gone for 2019. Is it us or is time just flying by? The Melbourne conference, an action-packed day of learning and interaction is over for another year.

We’re thrilled to announce that Softlink IC’s much-anticipated Virtual Open Day is back! Circle your calendar for May 30, 2024, and prepare to dive into the world of knowledge management solutions. This event is free to join and we’ll be offering sessions across three time zones.
Softlink Information Centres’ Brisbane head office was the venue for July’s Liberty library management system training. The free, face-to-face, customer training sessions were fully booked, as enthusiast Liberty users joined Softlink IC’s Alex and Sarah for a fun and interesting day.
For many in the library sector, the opportunity to attend a conference, like a Liberty User Group Meeting, will occur at some point. This is especially true for those working in medical, legal, academic, and government libraries. We all love an informative conference where networking opportunities are valuable. If you’re due to attend a conference soon, having a few tips on hand will help.
